FORNALUTX

Perched in the hills above Sóller, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, this mountain village is located on the highest peak of the Tramuntana mountain range. Its architecture is typically Mallorcan, with sandy stone facades crowned by red roof tiles and many cobbled stairs, passages and steep flower-filled lanes opening into tiny plazas.

A sense of rustic romance permeates every nook and cranny of this little mountain town.

Fornalutx is a good starting point for various hikes in the Tramuntana mountain range.

BiNiARAiX

Biniaraix is a hamlet two kilometres from Sóller. It preserves its ancient charm and the air here is perfumed with orange and lemon blossoms from the nearby orchards.

The centre of the settlement is a charming plaza with a church and two bars. Not far away from the square, you can begin the walk to the Barranc de Biniaraix.

The ascent up to the Barranc is one of the most spectacular day trips on foot that can be carried out along the old stone paths of the Tramuntana mountain range.

DEiÁ

Deià is a quaint hillside town with a classy feel. With its laid-back atmosphere and unspoiled rural charm, it became a magnet for artists, writers and musicians in the mid-20th century, when renowned English author Robert Graves first moved here.

Cobbled streets, pretty stone houses with green shutters and stunning views of mountains and the sea give the town a sleepy rustic charm.

The hills above Deià are home to excellent hiking trails and its small, pebbled beach (Cala Deià) is a jewel of rock pools with transparent sapphire water.

The Sóller valley, thanks to its terrain variety: mountains, sea, ravines and torrents, allow an infinity of outdoor sports activities and different forms of tourism complementary to the traditional sun and beach. You can walk, cycle or ride horseback along its paths, descend ravines, sail, discover a fascinating underwater world or fly over memorable landscapes.
